Shingal hospital , isolated in the destroyed city on Sinjar mountain, Northern Iraq is frequently short of medical equipment and supplies.
After a plea from a doctor working there who told us that if they need to transport a patient in an emergency there is no portable oxygen.. and so we sourced an Oxygen Concentrator from The Oxygen Store UK (BarO2 Ltd) who gave us a really generous discount! We are so grateful to them and most of all to PHI Charity for funding the £2,000 needed.
We hope that it will help to save lives in a truly desperately under resourced hopital which the Yezidis of Sinjar rely on for their care.
